CompareMachinery reads the European used-equipment market for you. Tell us the machine you’re buying; we email back a shortlist of below-median listings with direct dealer links. No commission, no middleman.
What we do
We continuously scan inventory from independent dealers across the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Poland, and Austria. Every listing is normalized to a common schema (make, model, year, hours, price), measured against the current European median for that model, and ranked for buyers.
Buyers tell us what they’re shopping for. The desk writes back a shortlist — usually three to five candidates priced below the current European median — with direct links to the dealer. We never insert ourselves between the buyer and the seller.
What we don’t do
- We don’t take a commission. The deal is between you and the dealer.
- We don’t publish individual listings. We email them privately to the buyer who asked.
- We don’t run an auction or a marketplace. We’re a reading service.
How we work
Our scrapers visit participating independent dealers on a schedule designed to respect their servers and their terms. Listings are stored in a private database; public pages show only aggregated signals — medians, ranges, listing counts — never the underlying records. Individual machine matches are dispatched to buyers who have actively requested them.
Coverage
We currently cover three machine classes: excavators (13–50 tonne), bulldozers (15–30 tonne), and wheel loaders (L80–L220 class equivalents). The primary market is Dutch and Belgian dealers, with German and Scandinavian coverage expanding through 2026.
Contact
Dealers who want to understand how their listings surface in our shortlists, or buyers with a specific machine brief, can reach the desk at desk@comparemachinery.com.
